Where the Type 2 switches to classic Arabic numerals, the Type 1 keeps to clean line markers for a purer, more minimalist read. The result is a clean, balanced three-hander with just enough detail in the textured dial and applied indices to keep things interesting, without ever straying from its minimalist brief.

To carry Glashütte on the dial, a watch must have at least 50% of its value created in Glashütte, a designation only a handful of brands meet. DUG meets that bar and delivers it in a compelling package.

Built around a 37mm three-part stainless-steel case, the new Purist Type 1 wears with quiet confidence. A height of 10.35mm, 43.9mm lug-to-lug, and 18mm lug width suit smaller and average-sized wrists the 40mm case doesn't always fit. A slightly domed, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal up front and a sapphire caseback deliver durability and clarity, while 100m (10 ATM) water resistance makes it a true daily watch. The textured dial, applied baton indices, and BGW9 Super-LumiNova bring crisp legibility in Black, White, or Blue.
