When fully opened, the Elko measures in at a scant 4.33”, with 1.74” making up the blade and the remaining 2.60” being the handle. The blade itself is crafted from Sandvik 12C27 steel, which is known for its toughness and ability to hold a sharp edge. The blade locks in place via a slip joint mechanism — an old-school, yet classic (and widely legal) way to safely lock up the blade during use. In addition to the cutting edge, the Elko’s key loop doubles as a small pry bar/screwdriver/bottle opener adding even more tools in a super small form factor.
