The Aquis line is Oris’ collection of unabashedly modern dive watches. This model in particular features the Caliber 400, ushering in a new era of Oris timepieces. Now with a 5-day power reserve, increased anti-magnetism, and 10-year warranty, the Aquis is modern inside and out. With a case defined by architectural geometry that brings undersea habitats to mind, a broad, easily manipulated bezel, integrated lugs, and uncluttered dials, the Aquis’ have their own unique language. Rated to a proper 300m, the Aquis’ is a true dive watch as well, one that will happily accompany you under water or anywhere you wish to take it.

The Aquis Date is a pure expression of everything one needs in a diver. Featuring a 41.5mm case that wears much smaller than one would expect thanks to the unique case shape and integrated strap, the Aquis is a tough tool watch that also looks great with daily work attire. The dial is clean and handsome with elegant applied markers, sleek hands and a discreet date at six. For those who seek a timeless look in a watch that can take anything you throw at it, the Aquis Date is a great choice.

The Oris Caliber 400 inside of the new Aquis Date is a truly impressive new movement from this independent Swiss brand. Featuring 21-jewels, this automatic caliber boasts a 120-hour/5-day power reserve. By removing many ferrous components, Oris was able to achieve high magnetic resistance. Thanks to a design that put efficiency and longevity at the forefront, Oris warranties the movement for 10 years, and recommends a 10 year service interval.

About Oris

The rich history of Oris dates back to 1904, when Paul Cattin and Georges Christian founded the brand in Hölstein, Switzerland, where it is still based. Over the past century, Oris has reached many great achievements, including being one of the 10 largest watch brands in the world in the 1960’s. Since the 1980’s, Oris has pursued a catalog of unique mechanical watches that has channeled their independent spirit. From their patented Worldtimer to their depth gauge diver to their mechanical altimeter pilot’s watch, Oris has continued to innovate in a way few other brands can match. An achievement that is highlighted by the brand’s commitment to fare, and accessible prices.
