Newgate has always found a way to make the art of displaying time interesting. In this newest release, they've created a British designed desk alarm clock that plays on the idea of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. Introducing the Centre of the Earth LCD Alarm Clock.
At 4.3 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide and comes in three colors, white, yellow and black. The spherical design stands out amongst the rectangular or square options that dominate the market. The design does provide a further benefit beyond it's aesthetic appeal as the black LCD screen at its center is set back. This should provide additional protection from glare, allowing the display to be legible in more environments.
In terms of functionality, the unique British designed alarm clock incorporates a 12 or 24 hour time display, a digital alarm and snooze function, and temperature display. It can either be powered by three AAA batteries (not included) or a USB cable.
