The Louis Erard x Worn & Wound Regulator was created as an exploration of what a watch can express beyond function; a composed moment of color, depth, and motion. Rather than refine an existing idea or reference a familiar era, the concept aimed to build something distinct within Louis Erard’s regulator tradition: a piece that feels singular, emotionally resonant, and unlike anything in either brand’s catalog.

Its character centers on a layered regulator display that blends clarity with visual dynamism. Fully skeletonized hour and seconds discs rotate beneath an elevated cobalt-blue minute dial, giving the impression of floating typography. Crisp white minute markings provide focus, while a polished arrow-shaped minute hand, echoing Louis Erard’s fir-tree language, anchors the readout. The result is expressive yet legible, merging classical references with contemporary precision.

Three dial layers create its dimensional presence: a cool white base for contrast, a fluted light-blue mid-surface aligned to minute increments, and a lacquered cobalt ring that serves as the visual core. This architecture sits in a polished 39mm steel case with a bowl-shaped midsection, straight lugs, and a 45mm length, balanced proportions that let the dial breathe while remaining widely wearable.

A 20mm pebbled taupe leather strap complements the tonal blues without distraction. Inside is the Swiss-made Sellita SW266-1 automatic movement, a 31-jewel caliber with hacking, hand-winding, a 28,800 bph frequency, and the signature regulator layout, finished with a customized rotor. Limited to up to 99 pieces, the collaboration embodies a refined blend of artistry, engineering, and individuality.
