Field Watch w/a Twist

Introduced last year, the Timex x Worn & Wound Field Watch w/a Twist takes a field watch’s practical spirit somewhere a little more playful.

We completely redesigned the dial, dividing its familiar elements into three distinct sections: a 13–24-hour track in the center, bold hour numerals in the middle, and a minute track around the edge. Separated by crisp railroad tracks, the layout resembles a sector dial, leaving plenty of room to experiment with color.

The twist? Italic hour numerals, a simple shift that adds motion, character, and playful eccentricity. Thick, pad-printed C3 lume on the hours and luminous hour and minute hands keep its field-watch credentials intact.

Three rings, one twist

13–24

At the center, a 24-hour track in small type.

1–12

In the middle, bold italic hours in thick, pad-printed C3 lume. The twist.

00–55

Around the edge, the minute track, set off by crisp railroad tracks.

Compact, domed, wound by hand.

The design is housed in the vintage-inspired 37mm steel case familiar from our previous Timex collaborations. Its compact barrel shape and generously domed crystal echo mid-20th-century tool watches, with a total height of 12.2mm, or 8mm without the crystal.

Inside is the hand-wound Sea-Gull TY6 caliber, bringing the simple pleasure of winding your watch each morning to an accessible, everyday design. Practical, compact, and a little unexpected, the Field Watch w/a Twist was made for newcomers and longtime collectors alike.

Warmer, brighter, more color.

For our 2026 collaboration, we took the Field Watch w/a Twist layout and introduced more color. Warmer, brighter, evoking fall and spring, the new colors are called Sunburst and Mist.

Colorway one

Sunburst

Sunburst pushes into more daring territory. Featuring three shades of orange-tinged red that descend in intensity from the outside in, the dial manages to be bold yet muted.

01 / 07

A contradiction by nature, the warm colors are striking, yet they never become ostentatious. Each warm ring is separated by a white track index set over blue-grey, creating clear moments of contrast.

The middle ring features the signature italicized 1–12 hour track printed in lume, while the inner area shows 13–24 in small, blue-gray type. Above, the hour and minute hands in seafoam blue clearly point to their respective units, while a white seconds hand with a cyan tip glides along.

A final touch of subdued contrast comes from the seafoam blue strap that matches the hour and minute hands. Its soothing tone makes the warm rings of the dial pop just enough.

Colorway two

Mist

Mist takes a cooler approach, bringing together shades of blue and green with a few unexpected accents. Soft and airy, the colors evoke the first hints of spring.

01 / 07

A muted blue-gray ring beneath the hours sits between a brighter aqua center and a deeper teal outer edge, with enough variation to give each section its own character.

Burgundy rings crossed by white track indices separate the sections, adding a subtle warmth to the cool dial. The signature italicized 1–12 numerals are printed in pale yellow lume, while the inner 13–24 track appears in dark green. Above, muted green hour and minute hands carry narrow strips of lume, while a deep purple seconds hand with a bright pink tip adds a small flash of color.

A sand-colored nylon strap brings a final touch of warmth. Neutral and understated, it complements the pale yellow numerals while letting the blues and greens of the dial stand out.
