Named after the eponymous barbeled dragonfish, a venomous Stomiddae commonly found at depths of up to 2,000m, the black dragonfish attracts its prey with its bioluminescence. Boldr’s Black Dragonfish is no different, offering a stealthy take on the travel GMT watch.

Featuring Boldr’s proprietary Superkuro Musou Black paint on the dial, a special blend resulting in up to 99.4% light absorption, the ultra-black dial is a void you’ll gladly gaze into. The only text on the otherwise vacant dial is along the rehaut, featuring the 24-hour scale in Swiss Super-LumiNova. The 40mm DLC-coated titanium case is matched to an integrated titanium bracelet of the same finish, featuring a quick-adjust system and a recreation of Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa on the clasp. Flip it over and the exhibition caseback is adorned with a black dragonfish searching for prey. 

The Black Dragonfish is powered by the Miyota 9075, a revolutionary new movement from the Citizen subsidiary effectively democratizing the local jumping-hour GMT compilation. The 9075 features automatic winding, 24 jewels, hacking, hand-winding, date and GMT complications, 42 hours of power reserve, and a high beat rate of 28,800 beats per hour.
