The QXA849 is Seiko's diver watch transposed to the wall — same design language as the Prospex lineup, same applied indices, same LumiBrite on the hands and hour markers, scaled up to 18 inches and hung on a nail instead of a wrist. The aluminum bezel ring carries minute and second indicators in exactly the format you'd find on a rotating dive bezel, and the sweep second hand runs on a quiet quartz movement with no audible tick. It's the kind of product that makes sense in a watch collector's home office or game room in a way that a generic wall clock wouldn't — it's recognizably Seiko, and it's referencing something specific rather than just being a round clock with a logo on it. Available in three colorways: Blue/Red, Black, and Silver.

The case is aluminum, 18 x 18 x 3.5 inches, with applied-style hour markers and a dial layout that mirrors the diver watch format closely enough to read as intentional rather than decorative. LumiBrite on the hands and hour markers means the clock remains legible in low light or dark rooms — a functional carryover from the wrist watch context where it originated. The quartz crystal movement runs on a single AA battery (included), and the sweep second hand movement is continuous rather than stepped, eliminating the ticking sound that makes most wall clocks unsuitable for quiet rooms.
