The Popeye “Bronemies” ship in the beginning of August.

Meet the Spinnaker Fleuss Automatic “Bronemies”, a spirited rival pack inspired by sea-captain Popeye and his arch-nemesis Brutus. Executed on a classic 43 mm dive-style canvas and limited to 730 pieces of Popeye Blue and 430 pieces of Brutus Yellow, each watch captures the characters’ personalities in eye-catching detail and playful design.

The Popeye Blue variant features a striking blue-to-black gradient dial housing Popeye mid-punch, with his muscular arms as the hour and minute hands and an anchor-shaped seconds counterweight. The Brutus Yellow model echoes its counterpart with fiery gradient tones, Brutus in full flex, and character-themed accents — including his cap-colored crown topper.

Both models are equipped for adventure and depth: a unidirectional bezel with character eyes at 12 o’clock, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, applied indices, and Swiss Super-LumiNova for glow-in-the-dark clarity. A screw-down crown and 150 m water resistance seal the deal, ready for both cartoon capers and real-world diving.

Powering each version is the Seiko NH35 automatic movement, visible through the exhibition caseback. It delivers a smooth sweep, a date complication, and a 41-hour power reserve. Each watch includes two straps — rugged silicone for dives and a themed nylon for daily character — and ships in a custom SpongeBob-themed box with its serial number, making it a splash-worthy collectible.
