G-SHOCK’s “MR-G” series represents the brand’s flagship line of ultra-durable timepieces combining cutting-edge technology with beautifully-finished metal cases and bracelets. Guided by the pursuit of precision, toughness, and beauty, the MR-G series is the pinnacle of G-SHOCK.

Combining the popular 2100 series with the MR-G’s legendary craftsmanship, the MRG-B2100 features the same bold 44.4mm case of the 2100 series rendered in a Titanium-64, an alloy prized for aeronautical and biomedical fields for its lightness and durability. The dial is inspired by Kigumi, the ancient Japanese art of wooden construction with no nails. They have gone so far as to construct the COBARION® bezel — a proprietary cobalt-molybdenum-chrome alloy — utilizing this technique, interweaving each of its 27 pieces together. The MRG-B2100 is paired with a Dura Soft strap with a Ti64 clasp.

Powering the MRG-B2100 is the Tough Solar 5718 module, a radio-controlled and Bluetooth-enabled movement. It features hour, minute, second, LED light, and full auto calendar with an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month. Its battery lasts approximately five months on one charge.

About G-SHOCK

G-SHOCK was born from a simple idea — a watch should not break when dropped. Back in 1983, the original square-shaped DW-5000C was created after Kikuo Ibe witnessed a child bouncing a rubber ball. It struck him that a watch floating within a rubber case would be impervious to shocks. After a bunch of testing and design with toughness in mind, the brand was born. Nearly 35 years and hundreds of models later, G-SHOCK is still best known for being some of the toughest, hard-wearing watches that money can buy.
