The Max Bill collection from Junghans represents a true pinnacle of horological iconicity, maintaining its aesthetic purity since first appearing in the early 1960s. Named for the legendary architect and designer, these timepieces reflect his Bauhaus training in Dessau, Germany. Crafted with a lightweight resin case measuring 43.2mm x 34.4mm and only 8.2mm thick, the CA-53 remains incredibly wrist-friendly for daily use. At its core, the watch is driven by the reliable quartz module 3208, featuring an eight-digit calculator, 1/100-second stopwatch, and dual-time capabilities. It also includes essentials like a daily alarm and a full auto-calendar programmed through the year 2099. With a standard 20mm lug width, it is also perfectly suited for those looking to swap in a custom strap to match their personal style. Recognized for their rugged and accessible timepiece offerings, Boldr Supply Co. has leveraged its expertise in durable design to expand into high-quality gear. This evolution has led to the creation of their Three Watch Storage Case.

Engineered for the traveling collector, this shock-resistant carrier accommodates three watches within an IP67-rated polypropylene fiber shell. Your collection stays secure thanks to a custom EVA foam insert, while soft egg crate foam lines the lid for added protection. Each internal slot will fit watches up to 48mm wide, while a longer cutout provides ample room for larger bracelets and straps up to 26mm wide. The exterior is equally overbuilt, featuring a dedicated pressure valve to prevent vacuum sealing during transit. For those seeking extra security, the case includes padlock shackle holes on either side of the latches that fit 3/16" shackles. A handy plastic label on the side lets you easily identify the treasures tucked away inside.

The Gerber Assert is light and compact in your hand with an ergonomically shaped textured polymer handle, and almost disappears into the pocket. Established by a pair of watch aficionados in 2019, Sō Labs is dedicated to crafting timepieces where design takes center stage. Taking its name from the Japanese word “Sō”, which stands for "beginning," and "layer," this Chicago-based outfit focuses on building unique watches that play with color, depth, and transparency.

The Layer Two is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case boasting 100m of water resistance. Its dial architecture is a masterclass in depth, utilizing a central layer for tracking seconds, a skeletonized minute hand, and a bold triangular hour indicator. Appropriately named for its multi-tiered layout, the Layer Two offers a variety of case finishes—from sleek DLC to refined brushed or polished steel—each chosen to highlight the dial's specific aesthetic. To complete the package, every watch includes a matching steel bracelet along with a curated strap from Veblenist. Inside, the reliable Swiss Sellita SW220-1 automatic caliber keeps things running smoothly. This 26-jewel movement features hacking, hand-winding, and a 28,800 bph frequency with a 41-hour power reserve. In a clever twist, Sō Labs has modified the day and date complications to cycle through 217 different color and layer combinations, ensuring the visual experience is constantly evolving.
