The Bulova Marine Star "Series B" Automatic collection represents a refined evolution of one of Bulova’s most enduring sport lines, blending maritime utility with a contemporary aesthetic. This redesign focuses on a versatile 41mm silhouette that bridges the gap between a rugged tool watch and a polished daily wearer. The collection is available in two primary configurations: the 98B466, featuring a sunray blue-to-black gradient dial on a stainless steel H-link bracelet, and the 98B465, which pairs a silver-to-black gradient dial with a high-performance black HNBR rubber strap.

The build quality emphasizes durability and clarity, featuring a 316L stainless steel case equipped with a screw-down crown and a unidirectional rotating bezel with a bi-color aluminum timing insert. The dials are protected by a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal, ensuring maximum legibility above and below the surface. Luminous hands and applied markers provide a strong glow in low-light conditions, while the professional 200-meter water resistance rating makes both variants suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling.

Powering the Series B is the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a reliable Japanese mechanical caliber that operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement offers a 42-hour power reserve and includes a hacking-second function for precise time setting, along with a discreet date window at the 3 o’clock position. The mechanical heart of the watch is visible through a screw-in exhibition caseback, allowing enthusiasts to observe the oscillating weight and balance wheel in action.
