The Chronograph Automatic M1a Ti is built around the design principles behind Timex Atelier as a whole: clarity, restraint, and structural thinking. Housed in a lightweight titanium case, the construction emphasizes clean lines and material precision over added ornamentation. The matte black dial absorbs light instead of reflecting it, and the chronograph registers sit integrated into that same restrained layout. It's offered on two attachments built around the same case: an NBR synthetic rubber strap or a self-adjustable titanium bracelet.

The case measures 42mm across, 49.30mm lug-to-lug, and 15.75mm tall, machined from titanium with a brushed and polished finish. A double-domed sapphire crystal reduces visual distortion across the dial, which carries full markers and a tachymeter scale for measuring speed alongside the chronograph function. An exhibition caseback shows the movement underneath. The rubber-strap version uses a 20mm black NBR strap with a deployant clasp and weighs about 95 grams; the bracelet version uses a 20mm self-adjustable titanium bracelet with a butterfly deployant clasp and weighs about 124 grams, with links that resize without tools.

Movement is the Swiss-made Landeron 72 automatic chronograph, winding off wrist motion rather than a battery. Titanium's use here isn't just cosmetic — automatic chronograph movements carry more mass than the quartz calibers used elsewhere in the Atelier line, so titanium keeps the case light enough to stay comfortable despite the added mechanical weight. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters, suitable for light swimming but not for snorkeling or poolside diving.
