The Depancel X Worn & Wound Allure Valjoux 92 design is based on Depancel's Allure line. It features a luxurious and sporty aesthetic, a beautifully finished dial, and a 39mm x 45.8mm steel case with brushed and polished surfaces that rides the line between vintage and modern. Departing from traditional chronographs, the dial design innovatively incorporates a pulsometer scale at the center, read via the back of the chrono-seconds hand.

In a further departure from convention, the collaboration removes the running seconds sub-dial and hand, creating a single-eye chrono design. The choice of mint green as the primary dial color was inspired by classic American cars. Rendered in gloss lacquer that contrasts the otherwise brushed, dark metallic surfaces, the mint green brings a cool, carefree style to the timepiece.

Powering the watch are restored vintage Valjoux 92 movements. Originating from the 1950s and 60s, the Valjoux 92 introduced innovative technology with its oscillating pinion, providing a simpler and more efficient coupling mechanism for the chronograph. Despite its simpler coupling mechanism, the Valjoux 92 retains its column wheel for actuation. It boasts 17 jewels, an 18,000 bph beat rate, and a 39-hour power reserve. For the collaboration, Depancel's watchmakers restored and modified the movements, visible through a display case back, a feature not found on vintage Valjoux 92 watches.
