The Pulse (Locket) rethinks what a watch reveals by default. Instead of a dial that's always on display, this compact case keeps the face closed, showing only a front-facing window where the second hand moves continuously — marking time in motion rather than inviting a glance at the minutes. It comes in two finishes, a stainless steel silver version and an 18K gold-plated stainless steel version, both sharing the same locket mechanism and construction.
The case measures a 26mm, opening and closing like an actual locket. This creates a distinction between what's always visible and what stays private until the wearer chooses to open it. It's fitted to a matching 20mm metal band closed with a push-button clasp for a secure, close fit, and rated to 3ATM for splash resistance.
Time is kept by a Japanese-made Miyota quartz movement, running on a standard SR626SW silver oxide battery. It's a straightforward, low-maintenance movement choice that keeps the focus on the locket mechanism and dial concept rather than on movement complexity.

Breda started in 2009 in Dallas, when siblings Amir and Shabeena Meghani began building on their family's watch trade — a business that traces back to their grandfather selling watch bands in India in the 1950s. Everything is still designed and prototyped in-house at Breda Studio in Deep Ellum, with a genderless approach that treats a watch as a style statement rather than a category. The brand leans into bold color, mixed materials, and accessible price points over traditional watchmaking conventions. It's Breda's core belief that quality shouldn't be a privilege — just a standard.
