The Chronograph Quartz M1q is built around the idea that thoughtful design should be accessible, pairing the visual discipline of Timex's Atelier line with the reliability of a quartz movement rather than a costlier automatic. A resolved dial, refined subdial layout, and balanced case proportions give the chronograph a considered look without adding distraction, while a guilloché-engraved surface adds texture and light play across the dial. It's available on two attachments built around the same case: an NBR synthetic rubber strap or a self-adjustable stainless steel bracelet.

The case measures 40mm across, 48.11mm lug-to-lug, and 12.7mm tall, in silver-tone stainless steel with a brushed and polished finish. A double-curved sapphire crystal covers the black dial, which carries full markers, a date window, and a tachymeter scale along the bezel for measuring speed over a fixed distance in conjunction with the chronograph. The rubber strap version uses a 20mm NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) strap, chosen for its resistance to oils and chemicals, closed with a deployant clasp; the bracelet version uses a 20mm stainless steel bracelet with removable links for easy resizing, closed with a butterfly deployant clasp. The rubber-strap watch weighs 95 grams, while the bracelet version weighs about 150 grams.

Movement is a Swiss-made chronograph quartz, running on an SR927SW battery for accurate, low-maintenance timekeeping. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and poolside diving, though not scuba diving.
