The Type 3X Zulu draws on Benrus's Type I and Type II watches, originally developed for U.S. military special operations in the 1970s, carrying forward the same focus on legibility, durability, and function rather than restyling them for a modern audience. It comes in two dial colorways, Green and Black, both built on the same case and movement.

The case measures 42mm across and 12.5mm tall, with a 20mm lug width, built from composite carbon and titanium with a screw-down crown. A single-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating covers the dial, paired with a unidirectional rotating titanium dive bezel and aluminum inner ring. Old Radium Super-LumiNova covers the dial markers and hands for low-light visibility, and the watch closes with a titanium caseback. It ships on a Velcro fabric strap.

The watch is powered by the Swiss-made ETA 2893 automatic GMT, adding a 24-hour hand for tracking a second time zone alongside a 42-hour power reserve. The watch carries 250-gauss anti-magnetic resistance and is rated to 20 ATM (660 feet) of water resistance, well beyond recreational diving depths.
