Inspired by the depths of space, Bulova's Lunar Pilot Black Hole captures the mysteries of the farthest reaches through one of Bulova's legendary timepieces from its Archive Series. It's the first Lunar Pilot offered in 41mm, and this limited edition arrives in a special Black Hole box complete with a travel case and matching Bulova clock.

The 41.2mm stainless steel case is black ion plated with a matte finish, offset by a bright polished bezel and matching pushers, and rated to 100m water resistance. Under a flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is blacked out with Musou paint that absorbs 99.4% of light, paired with a gun-metal-tone tachymeter scale and a slim matching handset and applied markers lit with grey Super-LumiNova. Three recessed, circular-grooved sub-dials carry a 1/20 chronograph seconds counter at 3 o'clock, running seconds at 6 o'clock, and a 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o'clock. It closes on a matching black ion plated 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp, 20mm at the lugs.

Power comes from Bulova's proprietary NP20 High Performance Quartz movement, built around a 3-pronged quartz crystal resonating at 262kHz — eight times the frequency of standard quartz — for accuracy rated to within seconds per year, while still driving a smoothly sweeping chronograph hand and running seconds hand rather than the usual quartz tick. The watch weighs 165g and is backed by Bulova's 3-year limited warranty.
