The Famous Fortis Space Watch Returns
Fortis is perhaps best known for making dependable and high-quality space watches. As partners of NASA’s Gemini program in the 1960s, Fortis created the Spacematic. But the watch that really put Fortis on the map was the B-42 Cosmonaut, and the new Novonaut is the modern iteration of what Fortis considers its greatest hit. The new Fortis Novonaut can be configured in a variety of ways by choosing a black or blue dial, along with a stainless steel bracelet or Fortis’ “Hybrid Stap”. Additionally, the Novonaut features a triple gasket, ensuring 200 meters of water resistance, SuperlumiNova hands, and the solid case-back boasts a rocket engraving, marking this timepiece's role in space travel and exploration.

Junghans has upsized the Max Bill case to 40mm, taking advantage of the increased space to place the hour track at noon, with seconds rendered at 6:00 while the minute track still maintains its presence at the center. The hands and date feature a vibrant red accent, complementing the sharp matte white dial, while a simple black leather strap grounds the design

A three-link stainless steel bracelet with vintage-inspired rivets finishes the look.
