Benrus has done it again! They’ve managed to bring back a classic with rich history and create a faithful reissue with a modern feel. Welcome the new Orbit Robot to the skindiver lineup. The original Orbit Robot from 1972 became a cult classic and the brand just knew they had to bring it back. As always, BENRUS takes every step in bringing forward the same design but with improved performance with modern-day materials.

Some of those upgrades include a Soprod P024 Swiss movement, domed sapphire crystal, and screw-down crown for 200 meters of water resistance. For maximum versatility and without changing the overall dimensions, the inner lug size has also been increased to accommodate 20mm straps, which is a favorite among watch collectors.

One of our favorite features of the original and the current reissue is the grey fumé dial, which was paid particular attention to in order to fully replicate the depth and radiance of the original grey watch model. The date window has been maintained, but the day window was removed to allow the dial to be fully appreciated. Of course, the UFO case remains here and the case back features a custom Benrus robot orbiting the Earth, a fun update made to honor the name of the watch.
