Integrated design and affordability. Two words that rarely come together. Yet now, Citizen has contributed a new collection to the mix that meets those standards. Meet the NJ015 "Tsuyosa" collection.

These watches come in an array of colors to brighten your day. With vibrant dials that feature luminous plots, hour and minute hands with a sunburst pattern. The date wheel at three is magnified by a piece of sapphire glass. And all of this is within a curvaceous and sharp edged case that comes in at 40mm with a svelte 11.7mm thickness.

But the experience doesn't stop there. The case extends to a tapered bracelet, with polished center links, that integrate perfectly into the overall design. That leads to a stamped clasp that sits opposite a display case-back showing off the Miyota 8210 powering these offerings. Since on display, Citizen has spruced up the movement with a gold toned rotor and plate.

Overall, if you're looking to dip your toes into an integrated watch without putting up the bank, the Tsuyosa is the watch for you.

About Citizen

With a history that dates back to the founding of the Shokosha Watch Research Institute in 1918, Citizen Watch Co. was formally established in 1930 with the goal of creating high-quality yet accessible timepieces for the Japanese market. Headquartered in Nishitokyo, Tokyo, Japan, Citizen is one of the world's largest and most vertically-integrated watch manufacturers. In addition to producing timepieces under its own name, Citizen also serves as the parent company for a number of other brands including Bulova, Alpina, Arnold & Son, Frederique Constant, Campanola, and Miyota. Citizen’s list of horological accomplishments is both long and impressive, including everything from creating Japan’s first fully-waterproof wristwatch to currently holding the title for the world’s most accurate movement, which is capable of astonishing precision within just one second per year.
