New Additions To The Windup Watch Shop
A limited edition collaboration!
Teaming back up with Timex for another round following the smashing success of the first two LE’s, the Timex x Worn & Wound WW75 V3 Limited Edition fits a hand-wound mechanical caliber into a 70s-inspired case with two dials inspired by the end of summer. Oozing vintage charm with classic proportions to match, the watch is perfectly sized for nearly any wrist. Effortlessly blending affordability and vintage looks, the Timex x Worn & Wound WW75 V3 is a perfect choice for not taking things too seriously. With only 500 of each colorway available, time is running out to make one your own.
A well-built, well-sized diver
Inspired by the climates and landscapes of the African continent, BOLDR’s Safari line of field watches is built for adventure into the unknown. The Safari Defender adds a dive watch to the mix, featuring a versatile 40mm case and 200m of water resistance. The Defender’s California dial layout, with Roman numerals from 10:00 to 2:00 and Arabic numerals from 4:00 to 8:00, adds a unique touch. Underneath the display caseback is a robust Japanese automatic movement, with each Defender featuring a randomized piece of caseback art depicting one of four randomized indigenous animals. With bold styling and classic proportions, the Safari Defender is a serious deal for a dive watch unlike any other.
A sub 40mm GMT comes to Seiko 5's field line
Seiko, that giant of affordable watchmaking, answered enthusiasts’ dearest wishes with the launch of their attainable SSK link of GMT watches in 2022. With the 5 Sports Field GMT, they’ve taken the popular complication and added it to one of their classic field watch designs. The final result may recall a certain reference built for exploration, but Seiko has added several touches unique to the brand. The shovel 24-hour hand, two 24-hour tracks, and orange accents light up the matte black dial, while the five-link bracelet offers some serious style. The 5 Sports Field GMT is also available in a coated black case variant, offering a radically different style for travel by night.
A 40mm Integrated Sports Watch Through The Eyes of Venezianico
Venice-based Venezianico has ventured into the 70s with its vintage-inspired Arsenale. The integrated bracelet steel sports watch has captivated enthusiasts in a rapid storm, and Veneizianco is keen to capitalize on this popularity with the Arsenale 40. Inspired by the Venetian Arsenale from which it took its name, the Arsenale features a 40mm case with an ultra-thin Miyota caliber inside, allowing for an impressive 8.95mm thickness. With three boldly patterned dials featuring Côtes de Genève and skeletonized hands, the Venezianico Arsenale places style at the forefront without compromising quality or function.
A 300m water resistant Quartz GMT
Designed in tandem with a team of Royal Marines, the Elliot Brown Beachmaster was created as a purpose-built watch for missions at sea and on land, with a name inspired by the Normandy Landings. Its 40mm dark grey PVD-coated case and accompanying 300m of water resistance immediately show that the Beachmaster means business. The Beachmaster’s patented timing complication allows the user to track both the lead-up to a designated time (H-Hour) as well as the hours following, in addition to its other functions as a dive timer and travel watch. Available in a ghostly off-white dial and the brand's unique NIVO dial, the Beachmaster Professional is a serious tool watch built for any mission.
39mm diver with eye catching stone dials
Venezianico’s dive watch, named in tribute to the Venetian-built submarine of the same name launched in 1913, is also the canvas of some of the brand’s most impressive dial work. The 39mm variant of the Nereide (“Sea Nymph”) features two stunning stone dials, effortlessly blending the line between sporty and dressy watches. The Avventurina Nera’s aventurine dial, a material created through the introduction of copper crystal into molten glass, and the Tungsteno’s deep mother-of-pearl dial, take the classic black- and white-dialed dive watch formula and introduce luxurious materials for a subtle yet powerful statement. With tungsten bezel inserts, rugged stainless steel bracelets, and 200m of water resistance, they’re as tough as they are stunning.
A 36mm GMT from Nivada's past
With a collection dominated by tasteful recreations of its famous back catalog, the revitalized Nivada Grenchen has gone to the Jet Age with its latest release in a re-release of a rare reference from the early 1970s. The Antarctic GMT features a Swiss-made Soprod caliber with an independent 24-hour hand, an “office” or a “caller” GMT. The internal rotating 24-hour bezel is adjusted via the 2:00 crown, a detail directly lifted from the original Antarctic GMT’s EPSA Super-Compressor case. With an imminently wearable 36mm, warm boxed acrylic crystal, and unique mid-century charm, the Antarctic GMT offers all the benefits of vintage without the pitfalls.
A well built Flyer GMT for all of your travels
The new Vagabond Collection from Fortis, with its cosmopolitan inspiration, is a departure from the brand’s history of rugged tool watches. Do not let that influence fool you — the new V-40 features every bit of ruggedness that fans of the brand have come to expect. The grade 5 titanium case and block bracelet, 200m of water resistance, and local jumping hour “flyer” GMT complication ensure that the V-40 is ready for any journey. Available in two shades of grey and blue dusk, each variant of the V-40 maintains a glance homeward with its 24-hour ring crafted in white gold. Perfectly blending form and function, the Fortis Vagabond V-40 is the perfect travel companion for this holiday season.
