Being the successor of the B42 Official Cosmonaut Chronograph, the new Fortis Novonaut has some huge shoes to fill, but it does so effortlessly. Measuring 42mm in diameter, 15mm thick, and 51mm from lug to lug, this stainless-steel watch is not for the faint of heart, nor was its predecessor. However, unlike the original, this chronograph features a space-approved Werk 17 manufacture column wheel movement with a 60-hour power reserve. The lume is now SuperLuminova X1, and it lights up the entire ceramic bezel, not just the dial and hands. It is still water-resistant to 200m and has the same super solid block bracelet. However, the clasp has undergone a significant overhaul, featuring a new twin-trigger release and an on-the-fly micro-adjustment for easy use. Paulin is a fresh and innovative brand based in Glasgow. Established in 2013, the brand specialises in mechanical watches with designs inspired by different art periods. Paulin sets itself apart by collaborating with local artists to design and create their products. The Neo line is their collection of joyful everyday watches, available in silver, gold, blue, and red. The 316L stainless steel cases are 38mm wide, 48mm lug to lug, and only 11.6mm thick. They come with matching steel mesh bracelets and anodized aluminium dials. The Neo is water-resistant to 50 meters and is equipped with the reliable Seiko NH35A movement. Citizen Watch Company may have been a little late to the integrated bracelet sports watch train, but they hit the ground running once they jumped on board. Their multi-colored Tsuyosa line has been a great success, and their subsequent small-second models are well on their way to achieving the same. These new pieces are powered by the venerable Miyota caliber 8322 automatic movement, which has a 60-hour power reserve and 50 meters of water resistance thanks to its screw-down display case back.
