Auteur’s watches explore form and material through a modern lens. Each watch is designed to be an object fully in the round, not just to be observed from the top down. Their cases feature exciting details like fluted channels and wood inserts, playing off of finishing that belies their price tags. Their dials are then studies in elegant minimalism, pairing a reduced vocabulary of forms with clean textures and surfaces.
Materials take center stage with the Revolution watches, which effortlessly combine wood with steel and leather. The 43mm case stars a solid walnut bezel that gracefully encloses a rim of brushed steel around a metallic dial. The mix of warm and organic with cold and industrial creates a unique design statement on the wrist. Furthering this, the whole of the Revolution is pebble shaped, featuring continuous soft transitions from wood to metal and across the domed mineral crystal.
The Revolution watches are powered by the ISASwiss K62 2-hand movement. This Swiss-made quartz movement features electronic setting via a push-button on the back of the watch. The battery life is approximately 78 months.

Founded by a pair of fashion and industrial designers from Normandy, France in 2011, AUTEUR has quickly built a reputation for unique, minimal timepieces with an almost architectural flair. Based in Hong Kong, AUTEUR’s core line of design-forward timepieces have earned them a coveted spot at the Museum of Modern Art (or MoMa) in New York City, an incredible honor for such a young brand. While appearing elemental on the surface, each AUTEUR timepiece hides a deeper complexity.
